The sum of rangelands and pastures not considered as cropland, and subject to livestock grazing or hay production. It includes a wide range of ecosystems, for example, systems with vegetation that fall below the threshold used in the forest land category, silvo-pastoral systems, as well as natural, managed grasslands and semi-deserts.
